Bark & ​​Birch, which operates in the UK, Ireland and the US, has opened an office in Brazil as it continues to grow rapidly across the world.

Bark & ​​Birch’s board and train model will be replicated in the city of Sao Paulo, and several dog day care centers will open across the country with a major recruitment drive for office staff, coaches and staff. .

Nick Rijniers, CEO of Bark & ​​Birch, 28, has managed to lead the company to global success, achieving a turnover of £ 6million in the second year of operation.

Rijniers, who trained German Shepherd Dogs in the Dutch Special Forces, started the business in 2019 in the UK with just two staff. He now has over 100 staff around the world and trains over 1,000 dogs per month.

He said: “What we have managed to achieve in two years is enormous. We started from scratch and transformed it into a global company, providing physical services in person to multiple countries and cultures while going through a pandemic.

“The decision to launch our services across Brazil came naturally and was a logical step in our business growth strategy. We are very excited about this new market as we have already had great success in UK, Ireland and USA. “
